+# MX Records
+
+MX (Mail eXchange) records are DNS records that tell the internet where to deliver email for a domain. When switching email providers, you update your domain's MX records at your domain registrar/DNS provider to point to the new host instead of Google's mail servers ("google"/"googlemail").
+
+## Process
+
+1. Look up current MX records (e.g., via [whatsmydns.net]) before changing
+2. Update records at domain registrar to new provider's values
+3. Verify the change propagated (often within an hour, up to 24-48h)
+
