# Custom Rubber Stamp Specification — 15×15 5mm Grid
|
||
|
||
Target supplier: UK custom rubber stamp manufacturer (Stamps Direct, Rubber Stamp King, Personalised Stamps, Cut By Beam, Stamp Design 4U, English Stamp Company, or Get Stamped — all deliver to UK; select one based on price/speed).
|
||
|
||
## Dimensions & Layout
|
||
- Stamp face (impression area): **75 mm × 75 mm** (3" × 3")
|
||
- Grid: **15 columns × 15 rows** = 225 boxes total
|
||
- Each box: **5 mm × 5 mm** square
|
||
- Line weight: thin black lines (≈ 0.5 mm) separating boxes; no thick border
|
||
- Orientation: grid aligned to stamp edges, horizontal lines parallel to long sides, vertical lines perpendicular
|
||
- Margin inside face: minimal (boxes run near edge; <1 mm padding) — specify if you prefer a 2 mm clear border
|
||
|
||
## Design Format (provide to supplier)
|
||
- Simple black-and-white line drawing (SVG or high-res PNG, 300+ DPI, transparent background)
|
||
- Only black lines on white; no shading, no gradients, no colour
|
||
- File name: `stamp-15x15-5mm-grid.svg`
|
||
- Lines must be uniform thickness; boxes must be square (not rectangular); grid must be square, not stretched
|
||
|
||
## Material / Mount
|
||
- **Stamp type:** Traditional rubber (wood-mounted, separate ink pad) OR self-inking — specify your preference (traditional is more flexible for custom line work; self-inking is more convenient for repeated use)
|
||
- **Rubber quality:** High-grade, laser-etched or traditional cut to maintain clean 5 mm edges
|
||
- **Size to order:** If supplier requires selecting from dropdown: choose the closest standard size ≥75×75 mm and note "custom 75×75 mm face" in order notes; if they offer custom dimensions, specify exactly
|
||

||
## Proof / Approval
|
||
- **Require digital proof before manufacture** — confirm the 15×15 count, 5 mm box size, and line weight match
|
||
- Do NOT approve if proof shows stretched, rounded, or uneven boxes
|
||
- Confirm proof dimensions in mm
|
||
|
||
## Delivery / Shipping
|
||
- **Destination:** UK delivery address (specify your postcode at checkout)
|
||
- **Timing:** Standard UK delivery (3–5 working days after approval; same-day dispatch available at some suppliers if approved before 11am/12pm)

- Confirm with supplier that they can meet exact 75×75 mm and won't round to nearest standard size

- Large custom stamps typically £20–£50+ depending on size, rubber quality, and mount type; custom dimensions may add a small premium; some suppliers offer free UK delivery over £35–£40

2. Go to their "design your stamp" / upload tool
|
||
3. Upload `stamp-15x15-5mm-grid.svg`
|
||
4. Select closest size (or enter 75×75 mm custom if available)
|
||
5. In "Notes / Comments" / "Sellers Notes" box, paste the specification block (dimensions + grid details + proof request)
|
||
6. Confirm price and delivery time; ask for digital proof
|
||
7. Approve proof; complete payment; confirm UK delivery address
|
||
